Access number – Is the number you dial to use prepaid phone cards. This number can be a Toll Free (in US are numbers beginning with 1-800, 866, 877 or 888) or a Local Access numbers that are meant to be used from specific areas or cities.
Connection Fee – This fee applies to the phone card´s balance every time the connection is established. The charge varies depending on the country a person is calling to. Connection fees reduces the advertised number of minutes on the phone card. Most of our calling cards do not have connection fees!
Destination number – Is the number you want to call. For international phone calls it begins with the exit code (011or 00) + country code + area code + phone number. (please check Card details on each calling card for advanced instructions)
Expiration – Phone card’s validity period, which starts after the first phone call was made. On our website we offer cards with and without expiration date.
Local Access number - This is a regular telephone number for particular areas. This number is used as an access number for certain prepaid phone cards. Local Access Numbers are used to reduce costs and provide better rates to the customers.
Maintenance Fee - This fee is deducted from the phone card´s existing balance (not from your credit card!), if any, every certain preestabished period of time (usually 7 days or monthly)
Phone card provider starts charging a maintenance fee within 24 hours after the first phone call is finished, it is usually deducted by midnight according to the
PayPhone - A public (or private) telephone that accepts coins or encoded credit cards, can be located outdoors and indoors. Our Phone Cards can be used from any public payphone in USA-Continental.
PayPhone Surcharge - This surcharge applies to phone card´s balance for each call made from a payphone. Prepaid phone cards provide are the most convenient way of making low cost calls anywhere, but there is usually a surcharge up to $0.99 per call when you use a public pay-phone
Permanent PIN Each time you add money to a card you recharge the same PIN number. Only rechargeable phone cards have the same PIN number.
Pinless dialing - When you buy a Pinless calling card, you may register your phone number with us. When you dial from a registered phone, the Access number will recognize it, skipping the hard-to-remember dialing process.
PIN - It is the Personal Identification Number.
Recharge option – Rechargeable phone cards offer a Recharge or Autorecharge option. By enabling the Auto-recharge feature you can make sure you always have credit available for your calls. Whenever you run out of balance, your card will be automatically recharged with the amount you decide. Each time this happens, you´ll receive an e-mail confirming the recharge.
Rounding - This is the basic measuring unit for a phone call. The normal minute rounding for prepaid phone cards is one minute. Our prepaid calling cards can be rounded to 1,2 or 3 minutes. Please consider the table below as an example of calculating phone call minutes to be charged depending on the rounding

Service fee– It is deducted from the phone card´s balance every time a phone call is placed. It varies from 1% to 25%. After the call is finished, this percentage will apply over the total amount of minutes used and will deduct from the card´s balance accordingly. Most of our cards do not have service fee!
Technical Support – It´s the calling card provider. They are in charge of quality connection issues, less minutes problems, call logs, etc.
Toll Free Access number – Free of charge telephone number, you need to dial to use the prepaid phone cards. (In US they usually begin with 800, 866, 877 or 888)
